Amendment no. 3 Intelligence in Intelligence Cadre in Punjab Police-2021 (For the post of Officer (in the rank of Sub-Inspector) and Distt Sub in the cadre of Police, Armed Police, Investigation Recruitment for the post of Inspector (in continuation of Advertisement No. 1 dated 6th July, 2021 Amendment No. 1. Amendment No. 2 and Public Notice dated 08.10.2021)


1. Advertisement no. 1 Dated July 06, 2021 in partial amendment for recruitment to the post of Intelligence Officer (in the rank of Sub-Inspector) in Intelligence Cadre and for the post of Sub-Inspector in the cadre of District Police, Armed Police, Investigation is now Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) pattern in Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) mode instead of Mund. As per advertisement no. 1 Dated July 06, 2021 Used Words Computer Based Test/Examination shall be read as Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) Based Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Test/Examination.

2. Regarding providing an opportunity to the aspirants, who have not applied earlier in view of the examination mentioned in Computer Based Test Mode, vide advertisement no. 1 dated 06th July, 2021 fresh application along with the prescribed fee is called for from such aspirants, who vide advertisement no. 1 dated July 06, 2021 meet the eligibility criteria as specified.

3. Further, if the candidates who have applied earlier, want to make any modification in the data entered in the first application, they can apply afresh along with the prescribed fee for male/female, in which case they can refer to the latest applications of male/female. will be considered final.

4. The recruitment portals will be open from 04.00 PM on 9th August, 2022 to 11.55 PM on 30th August, 2022 for receipt of fresh applications from the above mentioned aspirants.

5. All other applicants, who do not wish to make any amendment in their earlier submitted application, need not apply again. All candidates will still be issued a new admit card for the examination, for which the date(s) will be notified separately. 



6. Advertisement no. 1 dated 06 July, 2021 point no. Regarding Comment 1 to 5.3.1, It is clarified that the eligibility conditions regarding educational qualifications should be fulfilled For the date is 27th July, 2021, which the said advertisement no. 1 was the last date for submission of online application. Cut-off date for fulfilling the eligibility conditions and all the eligibility conditions Advertisement no. 1 dated July 06, 2021 will remain the same as indicated. 

7. Advertisement no. 1 dated 06 July, 2021 point no. Regarding 7.2, it is clarified that no normalization shall be applicable, if each paper is marked at once. is conducted for the candidates. 

8. Advertisement no. 1 dated 06 July, 2021 point no. 13 (xix) regarding the online application process in partial amendment it is notified that for submission of online applications by the aspirants/candidates as mentioned in para 2 and 3 above.
