01. Shorthand Writer(Higher Grade)

Qualification-1 Possess University Degree, preference being given to candidates possessing Degree in Law. This condition of University Degree may be relaxed if the candidate is already working for not less than 5 years as Lower Grade Stenographer in the High Court or in any other Court or Tribunal or in the office of Advocate General or Government Pleader.
2 Qualify Government Commercial Certificate Examination or Examination conducted by Government Board or I.T.I. Or Credible Institute for Speed of 100 words per minute in English Shorthand and 40 words per minute in English Typing.
3 Possess Computer Certificate as to proficiency in operation of Word Processor, M. S. Office, M. S. Word, OpenOffice Writer obtained from: a) Universities established under the Goa/ Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994.b) Goa/Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education c) NIC d) DOEACC e) APTECH f) NIIT g) C-DAC h) DATAPRO i) SSI j) BOSTON k) CEDIT l) MS-CIT OR Credible Institutions or Government Recognized Institutions.
4 Knowledge of Konkani. The candidate must not be less than 21 years and more than 45 years of age on the date of publication of this advertisement. The maximum age limit shall not be applicable to the High Court/Government Employees. Further, the age limit shall be relaxed by five years [i.e up to 50 years of age] in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes and by three years [i.e. up to 48 years of age] for Other Backward Classes.
02. Junior Translator & Interpreter
Total- 1
Qualification-1 Possess University Degree in languages viz. English, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarathi, preference being given to candidates who are holders of Degree in Law. Knowledge of Marathi
2 Are proficient in English and at least any two of the following languages viz. Hindi, Marathi, Gujarathi and Konkani.
3 Possess knowledge in operating Computer i.e. MSCIT Certificate or DOEACC's, CCC, O, A, B or C level Certificate or CDAC's 6 months Diploma Certificate or Degree or Diploma in Computer Application from Recognized University/ Credible Institution.
4 The candidate must not be less than 18 years and more than 45 years of age on the date of publication of this advertisement. The maximum age limit shall not be applicable to the High Court/Government Employees.
